What We Do

Our Services

A quick look at the concrete work we handle most often.

Concrete Driveways

A driveway that handles plow blades, road salt and daily traffic without falling apart.

Concrete Patios

An outdoor space that drains right and doesn't crack the first winter.

Stamped Concrete

Get the look of pavers or stone without the joints that weeds grow through.

Concrete Repair

Fix the cracked or sunken slab instead of tearing it out and starting over.

Concrete Sidewalks

Code-compliant walkways that won't get you a violation notice from the city.

Concrete Steps & Stoops

Solid steps at the right rise and run, poured to meet your door properly.

Who We Are

A local concrete crew, not a call center

We pour driveways, patios, walkways and foundations for homeowners in Jersey City and the towns around it. Most people find us after a slab has already gone wrong somewhere else, a driveway that's heaving at the seams or a patio that puddles every time it rains. Some of our work is brand new construction, and some of it is fixing a pour that never should have left the forms. Either way, you're trusting us with concrete that has to survive freeze and thaw for the next few decades.

We compact the subgrade properly before anything gets poured, because a slab is only as good as what's underneath it. We saw-cut control joints within a day of finishing the pour, so the concrete cracks where we tell it to instead of wherever it wants. On driveways we use air-entrained mix rated for freeze-thaw, not the same concrete you'd pour for an interior slab. That's the difference between a driveway that lasts fifteen years and one that's spalling by year five.

Our old driveway in Jersey City had a crack running the whole length of it, these guys re-poured it and it's actually pitched right now so water doesn't sit by the garage.

Concrete Driveways · Newark, NJ
Had to push the pour back two days because of rain but they called ahead, no complaints, patio's held up fine over in Bayonne.
Tom R.
Concrete Patios · Paterson, NJ
Sunken slab by the back door got mudjacked instead of replaced, saved me a lot of money and it's been solid since.

Common Questions

Questions we get a lot

Questions homeowners usually ask before booking.

Do you offer free estimates for concrete work?
Estimates for concrete driveways, patios and repairs are free and don't require a deposit to schedule. A written price is given after a site visit, since slope, soil and access all affect the cost.
Are you licensed and insured to pour concrete in New Jersey?
Concrete contractors working in New Jersey should carry a Home Improvement Contractor registration along with general liability insurance. Certificates should be provided to the homeowner on request before any work starts.
How soon can you start a concrete job?
Scheduling depends on the season and current jobs already booked, but most driveway and patio work can start within a few weeks of the estimate. Winter has more open dates than spring and summer, when demand for concrete work is highest.
What towns do you cover besides Jersey City?
Concrete work is done throughout Jersey City and nearby towns including Newark, Hoboken, Union City, Bayonne and Elizabeth. Distance from the yard affects scheduling more than pricing for most jobs.
Do you work on both houses and rental properties?
Concrete work is done for single-family homes, multi-family properties and small commercial lots alike. The process is the same regardless of who owns the property, though permit requirements can differ for commercial work.
Is a small job like a cracked step worth calling about?
Small jobs like a single cracked step or a short section of walkway are worth a call, since a small crack now often becomes a full replacement later if water keeps getting into it. Not every job requires a full crew or a big minimum charge.
How do I get started on a concrete project?
The first step is a phone call or a message describing the project, followed by a site visit to measure the area and check the soil and drainage. A written estimate follows within a few days of that visit.
What does concrete work typically cost?
Concrete flatwork is usually priced per square foot, with driveways and patios running higher than sidewalks because of thickness and reinforcement. Site access, old concrete removal, and soil conditions all move the price up or down from a base estimate.
Do you require a deposit before starting work?
A deposit is common for concrete jobs to cover the cost of materials like rebar, forms and ready-mix concrete ordered ahead of the pour. The remaining balance is due once the work is finished and the homeowner has seen it.
What happens if it rains on the day of my pour?
Concrete can't be finished properly in heavy rain, so a pour scheduled for a rainy day gets pushed to the next open date rather than rushed. Light rain after the slab has begun curing usually isn't a problem.
